Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise Welcomes New Litigation Associate Tristan Bufete

LOS ANGELES – The trust and estate litigation firm, Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise, announced that Tristan Bufete has joined as an associate.

“Tristan is well-versed in handling high-level litigation matters and his experience will bring immediate value to the firm’s clients,” said managing partner Matthew McMurtrey. “We’re glad to have him on board.”

Mr. Bufete obtained his J.D. in 2014 from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. While in law school, he served as associate editor of the UCLA Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bufete was a paralegal at Public Counsel Law Center, the nation’s largest pro bono law firm.

Mr. Bufete received his B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science, summa cum laude, from California State University, Fresno. He attended Fresno State on a full merit scholarship as a Smittcamp Scholar and received the Outstanding Graduate Award for the Departments of Economics and Political Science in 2008.

Tristan currently serves as a board member of the Philippine American Bar Association.

Prior to joining Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise, Tristan was a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
