Terry Franklin to Present at San Francisco Estate Planning Council – September 2017 Meeting

Partner Terry Franklin is speaking on “The Will of John Sutton: What’s New and Not So New in Estate Litigation” at the upcoming San Francisco Estate Planning Council meeting on September 19, 2017. He will lead attendees on a journey uncovering his family’s path to freedom from slavery through his fourth great-grandfather’s 1846 last will and testament, which emancipated his fourth great-grandmother, their eight children and six grandchildren. Mr. Franklin will also discuss the will contest that nearly kept the family in brutal slavery in the context of what’s new – and not-so-new – in estate litigation. Attendees will receive one hour of MCLE credit.
