Terry Franklin to Speak at 40th Annual USC Trust and Estate Conference
USC Gould School of Law’s estate planning conference invites Terry Franklin to speak on the issue of diversity and elimination of bias at the 40th Anniversary Trust and Estate Conference. The conference will take place on November 21, 2014 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. He will share the podium with Paulette Brown, who is slated to become the first woman of color to lead the 400,000 members of the American Bar Association
With more than 400 registrants, the conference is specially crafted for attorneys, trust officers, accountants, financial institution executives, underwriters, insurance advisors, wealth management professionals, paralegals, fiduciary officers, and other professionals in the trust and estate planning field. The conference has allowed professionals to learn from both the speakers and their professional colleagues in attendance about community property issues from a litigation perspective, quick tips on selecting guardians, nuts and bolts of fiduciary income tax, selecting and advising fiduciaries, and a practical estate planning workshop.
