Sacks Glazier Franklin & Lodise Welcomes Three New Associates

Sacks Glazier Franklin & Lodise LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three associate attorneys: Antonieta (Tonie) Pimienta Lefebvre, Joshua LeVasseur and Mary Lipscomb.

Pimienta Lefebvre obtained her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served as a Notes Editor of the Columbia Law Review and authored an article on the Prison Litigation Reform Act’s exhaustion requirement that was selected for publication. Prior to joining Sacks Glazier Franklin & Lodise, Pimienta Lefebvre was a litigation associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, and previously at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. From 2017-2019, she clerked for the Honorable Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the United District Court for the Northern District of California.

LeVasseur is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he was the Managing Executive Editor on the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law. After graduating from law school, LeVasseur clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Willie J. Epps, Jr. of the Western District of Missouri. He was previously a litigation associate at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, where his practice largely focused on complex securities issues and major financial institutions.

Lipscomb obtained her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she specialized in Critical Race Studies. During law school, she chaired the Reentry and Expungement Clinic, and worked on asylum applications and removal defense in the Immigrant Family Legal Clinic. She also served as Managing Editor of the Indigenous Peoples Journal of Law Culture & Resistance and Articles Editor of the Dukeminier Awards Journal of Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Law. Prior to joining Sacks Glazier Franklin & Lodise, Lipscomb was a staff attorney at Public Counsel in their Homelessness Prevention Law Project, where she defended tenants in unlawful detainers.
