Mentoring Young Lawyers and the Impact of Affinity Bars – Terrence Franklin Hosts ACTEC Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Video

In celebration of National Mentoring Month, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) offered a discussion between two successful trust and estate lawyers about the impact mentors had on their careers, and professional recommendations to young lawyers in Mentoring Young Lawyers and the Impact of Affinity Bars, part of the organization’s monthly video series, Planning for a Diverse and Equitable Future.

Partner and ACTEC Fellow, Terrence Franklin, serves as host, with Fellows Stephanie Perry and Sandra J. Chan reflecting on their experiences as young female lawyers of color in the trust and estate profession.

Learn more about Stephanie and Sandra’s pathways to success and their recommendations to mentors and mentees here.

The video series was created as a project of ACTEC’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Committee, funded by The ACTEC Foundation, and features new guests and topics each month. For further information about ACTEC’S Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Committee, visit: https://www.actec.org/diversity
