Terrence Franklin Interviewed on California Lawyers Association “Trust Me” Trusts & Estates Podcast
Partner Terrence Franklin was a guest on the California Lawyers Association Trusts & Estates Section podcast “Trust Me,” where he shared his story, “John Sutton’s Will: Bending the Arc of History Towards Justice in the Probate Court.” Franklin discovered a will contest from the 1840s that challenged the will done by his fourth great-grandfather and emancipated Franklin’s fourth great-grandmother, Lucy Sutton, and her children and grandchildren. That discovery, in turn, led Franklin to understand his life’s mission, “To Bend the Arc of History Towards Justice” by sharing his family’s story and others like it, as widely as possible.
