Meg Lodise Recognized Among the “Top Women Attorneys” by Los Angeles Business Journal

Partner Meg Lodise was selected to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2020 list of Top Women Attorneys, honoring the city’s most influential women attorneys. Honorees were recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.

In the Top Women Attorneys feature, Los Angeles Business Journal noted: Margaret Lodise has established an impressive reputation in her 32-year career for handling some of the most complex and high-dollar trusts and estates disputes through trial and appeal. Among her high-profile representations, she has served as guardian ad litem for Michael Jackson’s three children for the past decade, overseeing their financial interests in all matters relating to Jackson’s estate. Lodise’s work stands out in the legal marketplace for the ways in which she’s helping shape the future of trusts and estates law. As Chair of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s Amicus Briefs committee, Lodise works to improve trust, estate and tax laws, procedures and professional responsibility by filing amicus briefs. Notably in 2019, Lodise, along with committee members, filed an influential amicus brief for a North Carolina trust tax case in which the U.S. Supreme Court agreed with ACTEC’s position in a rare 9-0 decision.
