Terrence Franklin Appointed to Nominating Committee for ACTEC

Partner Terrence Franklin was recently appointed to the 2014-2015 Nominating Committee for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a non-profit organization established in 1949 comprised of lawyers who demonstrate commitment to the profession, have a high level of integrity and have an extensive breadth of experience. The 2,600-member organization prides itself on enhancing the members’ ability to provide excellent service to their clients, improve standards of professional responsibility and cooperate with similar organizations.

As part of the Nominating Committee, Mr. Franklin will be responsible for identifying future leaders for the college. He currently serves on the Diversity Task Force where he is committed to increasing membership among attorneys with a diverse background and strategizes on ways to make the trusts and estates practice area more appealing to young lawyers. In addition, he serves on the California Membership Committee, the Fiduciary Litigation Committee and the Board of Directors for the ACTEC Foundation.
